A native of the Florida panhandle, David attended Florida State University and graduated with honors with a degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s Degree in Public Health.  David attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) College of Law where he obtained his law degree with honors.

The majority of David’s legal career has been in solo practice where he represented clients in various stages of litigation. David is admitted to the Mississippi and Tennessee bar and practices in both State and Federal courts. He has handled cases in front of over 100 different judges going all the way to the state Supreme Court.

David currently resides in Memphis with his wife and two children. David is a member of Independent Presbyterian Church. David also enjoys hunting waterfowl, turkeys and offshore fishing.
